Serenity Prayer

THE SERENITY PRAYER
by. Reinhold Niebuhr

God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
As it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
If I surrender to His will;
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life
And supremely happy with Him
Forever and ever in the next.

JUGGLING

Have you ever been interested in juggling? Do you know how to do it?
When I was a kid the most interesting action in a circus was the jugglers and the clowns who rode on unicycles. The flyers didn't interest me as much because I was afraid to see someone fall. Because of this interest I learned how to juggle.
First I learned to juggle two balls with two hands. I held both balls in my right hand, threw one into the air and caught it with my left hand. After a while I could do it faster but it was not type of juggling I wanted to do. I wanted to be able to juggle two balls or more with one hand.
The next thing I did was to try to catch the ball that I threw into the air with my right hand, but before that ball landed in it I hastily threw the other ball from my right hand. The result was both fell to the ground. I tried again and again until finally I could manage doing it without dropping the ball at all for ten times in a row. I was so happy I couldn't wait to show it to my friends.
To tell you the truth juggling is not as hard to do as it looks. As long as we put our eyes on the balls all the time, wait for the right moment to throw the ball into the air and cacth it back, we would be able to keep those balls in the air for a while. Now I can juggle three balls with one hand. This is not an extra ordinary talent at all but my sons love to see me juggling. It can always entertain other people, and for me it helps me a lot in training my mind to concentrate.
Try it. It's fun !
